These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between the buyer and Stepping Out in Style Ltd.
Our Guarantee
We take pride in what we sell and you will only find the very best quality items in our product range - many
of which we personally test to ensure we buy the best we can. Every care is taken to describe each item accurately and
picture it as clearly as possible. Computer monitors can represent colours differently so the screen colour should be taken as an
approximation only. If you are unsatisfied with any item purchased from us we will do everything we can to deal with the matter
to your satisfaction. Please note - for reasons of hygiene, self adhesive bra products are excluded from our returns policy.
Items made to measure are also non-returnable.
Price Promise
If you find any dress either on another website or in a retail premises cheaper than the same product on Stepping Out In Style Ltd's website or for
sale in our shop, we will not only match it but beat it on price. All dresses must be exactly the same and from the same supplier.
Please read our Price Promise terms below:-
- Stepping Out In Style Ltd will only offer the Price Promise on dresses - no other items are included in this promotion.
- Stepping Out In Style Ltd will only offer the Price Promise to customers once they have checked all the details of the competitor, all representations
may involve a phonecall or search of the internet. Details of the competitor must be supplied by the customer.
- Stepping Out In Style Ltd will only offer the Price Promise within the UK and with comparible UK sites and retail premises.
- Under no circumstances will Stepping Out In Style Ltd match any price which has been discounted for any reason. All prices must be genuine.
- All Price Promises will be made at the discretion of Stepping Out In Style Ltd and are not guaranteed. Stepping Out In Style Ltd reserve the right not to offer a Price
Promise.
Despatch
We make every effort to despatch your order the day after payment is processed. At busy times we may not
be able to despatch immediately but will inform you of any delay. We will inform you via email once your parcel has been
despatched. We will only despatch by Parcel Force 48-hour delivery. Please supply an address where someone will be around to sign for the parcel during working hours as
parcels cannot be left without a signature.
VAT
All prices shown includes VAT.
Currency
All orders will be transacted in Pounds Sterling.
Payment Options for All Customers
All orders require pre-payment in full by credit or debit card before goods are despatched. Payment will
be handled by Paypal's secure online payment facility.
Prices
Although we make every effort to maintain prices, they may be subject to alteration without prior notice.
Returns Policy
You should satisfy yourself that you wish to keep the item before removing tags or disposing of any packaging
which includes hanger, tissue, polgy bag wrapping and box.
If you wish to return an item, you will need to contact the store by phoning 0844 414 2526 and obtaining a Returns Number.
RETURNS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RETURNS NUMBER OBTAINED FROM US AND DISPLAYED ON
THE OUTSIDE OF THE PARCEL.
The returns number procedure helps us both - please do not return an item without one as it will delay any refund and could
mean your return is refused.
Items will only be accepted for return strictly within 5 days of date of receipt (the day you signed for the parcel) and in new
condition with all tages attached in the original packaging. Self adhesive bra products, dress covers, gown covers, power pants,
high waist power pants, slimming and firming pants, high waist shaping pants and other intimate products cannot be returned.
Return the item to us making sure it is packed carefully. We thoroughly recommend using an insured and trackable service such
as Parcel Force or Royal Mail Special Delivery as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit to us.
Upon receipt of the item returned, in new condition, we will refund the purchase price via the initial payment method, less the
initial carriage charge. Should you wish to exchange for another size, postage and packing will apply to the exchange.
Refunds are normally completed within 14 days after the item has been returned.
Items returned in an unsaleable condition e.g. with tags missing, cover or packet missing, make up stains, alterations, signs of
wear, damage, smelling of smoke, perfume, body odour or any other odour not associated with a new garment or returned
outside of 5 working days, will be returned to the sender and no refund will be issued. If we need to steam press an item due to
poor packaging, a charge of £10 will be deducted from the refund. Please do not embarrass us or yourself by returning a
garment which has been worn.
Please rest assured that all our items are fully inspected for damages before leaving our premises.
Retention of Title
All goods will remain the property of Stepping Out in Style Ltd until paid for in full by the customer.
Trade Description Act
Whilst every care is taken to describe the products accurately, customers should satisfy themselves that the
product meets their requirements. Stepping Out in Style Ltd reserves the right to amend specifications on all items without prior
notice. We also reserve the right to remove any item from sale without prior notice.
Illegal Acts
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an
erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic 'fingerprints' of
every order placed on this website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual
users engaging in criminal activities on our website.
